My fiancee and i are in town for a week staying at the crown plaza. From the first night i have seen the awnings that said prime rib and wanted to try it. We came in at 230 today and were told prime rib wasnt sold until dinner. So we made a reservation and came back right at 4pm. I really wanted and end cut and knew the start of dinner was the best chance. One hour before our reservation i even got a text reminder!! We were greeted immediately and sat at a booth as requested. Our Servers name was Kenny, and he was phenomenal. I have served, bartended, and managed in fine dining before and he was the epitome of attentiveness, knowledge, and service. He asked if it was a special occasion, offered to take pictures of us, and gave great food and wine recommendations. I wanted only two things.. an end cut of prime rib and a good cabernet. He flawlessly accomplished both as well as a recommendation of a great mai tai for my fiance. While packaging up our food he talked about a cheesecake we should try so we took that to go. Since we were staying at the crown he also gave us togo utensils. We got to talking about the fact that it was a vaction for my marriage proposal and he brought us a special desert for the end of meal as well. This was hands down one of the most pleasant dining experiences i have ever had and will return everytime in town. Not only was the service great, but the food was exquisite as well. Best prime rib and cheesecake i have ever had.
